Welcome friends of Heavy Groove.  Mindshapefist is a four piece ROCK/Southern ROCK/progressive HEAVY GROOVE /Asteral Projectiong Band, based out of Asheville N.C.. Mindshapefist has been around  for a while now and enjoy the process of making something from nothing useing HEAVY GROOVES, OFF KILTER TIMING and PERCUSSIVE RIFFS.They have built a solid following in the southeast with a reputation for HIGH energy shows and great crowd interaction. In 2005 they released 10hrs 5min 43sec introducing MSF to folks all across the great southland and with there follow up release in 2007 Handling Serpants/Speaking In Tounges was meet with great adulation from Industry folks and MSF's Fan Base,they continued to grow as a band and also in music dept. MSF 's Recording of  the New (2009 Cd )Starts June 23rd@ The World Famous Jam Room Studios,and is being produced by Mike Rhodes former drummer for The Blue Rags(SUB POP) and Highly Respected Hired Gun session player on several national releases .MSF would like to thank the folks of ECHO MTN RECORDING FOR THER HELP WITH HANDLING SERPANTS/SPEAKING IN TOUNGES,AND AS ALWAYS A VERY SPECIAL BIG UP TO JAY MATHESON AND ALL OF THE FINE FOLKS OF THE WORLD FAMOUS JAM ROOM STUDIOS(OUR PARTNERS IN SONIC VIBRATION CAPTURING), we also would like to thank the folks of Penstock Produciotns for ther inclusion of our tunes on there DVD'S Cheers!!
